The first demo was recorded completely by himself. Eventually, Dark the Suns grew into a full band capable of performing live. Prior to the formation of Dark the Suns, Ojala had another one-man project – The Beauty of Darkened Hearts. The information on the project is scarce, but it is known that three promo tapes were recorded and that one of them, Darkness and Love, was released in 2002. The band made an official announcement that it was splitting up in early 2013. After 7 years of silence, Inka and Mikko decided to make music together and announce a new single on March 24th, 2020
