The Calling是个以南加州颓废风格为根源，而创作出既爽朗又不落俗套的音乐的洛杉矶摇滚新劲旅。在吉他Aaron与主唱Alex的创作驱动下，The Calling凭借着他们在RCA唱片旗下发表的首张专辑“Camino Palmero”，顺利地成为今年度最幸运的新进乐队。邀得Marc Tanner担纲制作，并请到知名混音师Chris Lord-Alge为辑中的八首歌曲混音，这张新专辑呈现了对爱与失落、拒绝与赎罪的辛辣见解。
